but if wiring in standard globe to the led makes it work properly, then using the correct resistor would also work.

I thought that was commented on before, that there's a spike in resistance as it first heats up?

I do recall reading ages ago that just the resistor does the trick though so I was surprised to read about it not working - maybe just wrong rating?

2006 BF F6

I installed all below  2 1/2 years ago.  No prob with c/c, abs, 'dim glow!.......etc.

•Parkers 50w led.  Plug n play

•Reverse 80w led (1x 50w 6ohm resistor)

•Brake/Tail light 50w led (2x 50w 6ohm resistor. 1 per tail light)

•Number plate led. Plug n play.

•Boot and int map/footwell,courtesy light all plug n play

Indicators are factory. No reason, just cbf

so maybe using the same 6ohm resisters that the led indicators require might work for the brake lights. worth a try.

As a slight aside, dont do the drink and buy online.

I got a pair of H3 leds for the spots in my BF2 ( the phillips crystal vision H3 dont match the mains for colour )

What I failed to think of was the dirty great fan gizmo on the back of the LEDs wont fit in the spot lights plastic backing cup- FAIL!

Looks like I will have to try the diamond vision halogens.

These are the ones that I got:

I used the reverse and indicators from this kit:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ford-Falcon-AU-BA-BF-Bright-LED-Taillights-Brake-Reverse-Indicator-Bulbs-/181192029451?hash=item2a2fe2f50b&_uhb=1

and the stop/tail lights from this one:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ford-Falcon-BA-BF-AU-HiPower-Red-Cree-LED-Tail-Brake-Light-Globes-Error-Free-/201117411545?hash=item2ed38828d9&_uhb=1

The indicators hyper flash and the reverse lights are on but dim (only noticeable at night or up close during the day)

I currently have the incandescent globes in for the stop/tail lights as the issues I was having where as follows:

-parker lights turning on when the brakes where applied

   -cruise control not activating

-cruise control not turning on unless the brakes are being applied (and then turning off with no brakes)

-faulty bulb alert (little light bulb in the trip computer flashing)

I did not test to see if the abs was working but I have heard from people I trust (auto sparkies) that this can happen.

The only two things I have tried is the shtty 5ohm 20 something watt resistors, that both suppliers had given me, and it didn't work for any of the globes and having an incandescent on one side and an led on the other which did work.

I will try what @turbovich has done next and it would be good if you could remember where you had gotten them from.

I've changed nothing and have no wiring issues nor gaf either.

Problem solved!?
