Other than that it is great, but there is a definite diff whine at 95 to 100kph.I would really appreciate your opinion on the software upgrade - should I ask for it or should I adopt the attitude "if it aint broke....."?Also, is it worth pursuing the diff noise or am I just as likely to get another with the same whine and possibly more problems as well (clunk, vibration etc)? What % of diffs in your experience have that period whine?Thankszeke

Guest ALEXhaynes Guests Posted 16/03/04 12:20 PM Share Posted 16/03/04 12:20 PM (edited) My new XL SE Manual ute stalls all the time when pulling up at lights hot and cold revs also go up and down from 750-250 untill it stalls."Is the B30 Update only for XR6T or does it also apply to poverty pack ford utes?" ALSO does anyone have a shudder on take off? mine is very bad. FORD in the Northen Teritory says its a ford thing but I do not beleve them. Guest rabbit Guests Posted 16/03/04 11:23 PM Share Posted 16/03/04 11:23 PM Fordtech,I had the new PCM calibrations done on Feb 25 after getting the Office of Fair Trading involved. My concern is that the calibration may not be the most current (B30), since you have indicated that the disks have only just been issued to dealers.Do you think I should get it re-done?Thanks.
