I'm sure you could concoct your own ingredients but that negates their main selling point.

If you can source your own ingredients and just chuck them in then it shouldn't be any harder, but potentially a lot cheaper?

Edit: Lol the "bananas" taste is a common infection that happens mainly to lager beers.

I think it was because it got too warm?

I've only had it happen a couple of times. Just a quick google shows that it is from getting too warm. I still drank it anyway lol.

I've also had beer go bad through other infection as well.

It would be cheaper but more time consuming.

The beer could be better quality but then you should be looking at using something like this.

Yeah - we drank it.

We also made everyone else drink it too - and tell us how good it tasted.

They were very polite.

Hahaha yep I remember the same thing exactly!

My cousin was not nearly as polite about it as your friends.

I'll put a bottle aside for you too Rab when you come over next year. :drunk:

I work with quite a few beer snobs, one I nicknamed "Encyclopedia Beertanica". One goy does his own brewing as he is glutten intolerant. Apparently it's a really good drop, I'm a spirits man as beer does nothing for me except pass through my body.

Another guy has a little oak keg & tried his hand at making something with a "moonshine" you can buy. Tried that last Christmas, wasn't too bad, cleared the nostrils & had a decent kick to it. He lasted about 9 months but is on a health kick & did the full marathon at this years City to Surf, so not sure if he will do more.

If he doesn't, I'll put my hand up to buy his kit & try it myself.

I feel sorry for that guy if he's a ciliac sufferer.

My maco mates dads and uncles do a mean home brew. Fixes all your problems. Rakia:dancing:

They're the friggin vegetarians of the 2k10's - as soon as "gluten free" became a thing

(not having a go at the true sufferers, just those self diagnosed insufferable tossers that have to let everyone else know, all the time, all the places)

Am a sucker for ginger beer - have always been more tempted to brew this at home than actual beer.

An cheese - have looked into doing that at home too - love a good soft cheese :)

There's a couple more ideas for anyone looking what to put under my tree :P

Hate to say it, but I'm OK on BBQ stuff at the moment :S
