if the barra motor was highly boosted it would be fine, shove 30psi in the ffer.

go on, do it mate. fu4kn make all 4 wheels spin at the same fkn time with 1000kw built engine with all the money you have.

I reckon put one in a VL commy

It's been done in a few R33's already (Barra swap)-not sure on the AWD but then why would you want to? The stupid amount of money etc it would cost just to get it all to bolt up, you could spend on the Nissan donk and have a decent amount of power atw anyway. Then there's all the Nissan fanboys who would get butthurt cause you bastardised a GTR lol

since they both inline 6, is it possible to fit xt6 turbo engine and tran combine with the gtr34 awd platform, could handle lot better, is it do able?

doable? yes! waste of time? absolutely! expensive? highly!... Its not feasible as the attesa system is complex and would need a heavily modified sump at the very least to even try and get it to work, The pick up in the sump would also have to modified as well as alot of engineering to get it aligned etc etc etc. You would need at least 10k just on organising that before you could start modifying the motor directly. Its heavier and is of no gain what so ever in a GTR platform over the 26 or even 30/26. Its also a bit longer and taller which aren't huge issues.

if you want displacement get a rb30 for $100 buck and spend 10k forging the bottom end/balancing the crank and sticking a 25 or 26 head on with a big single will make 1000hp+ all day every day

yeah no issues in a rwd just like any other swap, would require cable mod or wiring to electronic throttle, but far easier for a gts but then again a 30 block will make power as easy and bolts up no issues

To add to the thread, there is a 3.4 stroker kit available for the rb motors that is only a few hundred cc shy of the 3.7 stroker available for the ford.

Money and common sense aside, that's just a few days r&r with the build and tune in there too.

^this

spool make the 3.4 and is full balanced and spins to 10k happily and dont forget rips racing is the Rb30/32 master builder from NZ. Would be absolute stupidity to try an the barra into a GTR. costly and no gains to be had overall
