It will not change down to low gear at a low speed unless you give it a boot full. At that point it is way to much as it is at a cross road, round about or car park. It has been back to Ford 5 times with a different story each time - the last time I was told basically Im an idiot and dont know what I;m talking about. Has anyone else had a similar fault and what has been done. Dont get me wrong for a cheap car it is up near the M series etc and will pull 0-100 in a tad over 5 sec when Im in a hurry. Chuck it in manual and change gears on your own for a couple days and see if it's any different with you doing it. I know a lot of guys complain about the zf banging back into first. Mine doesn't bang into first it just hesitates to select it sometimes. Usually on a hill it'll try to take off in 2nd then choose first. Theres a mod for it on here somewhere. It escapes me at the moment. A few zf guys have done it. The other alternative is to have someone with the software tweak the tune for the box. In saying that if the person doesn't know what they're doing they'll make it worse. Where are you located? There's a few guys on here that could help you depending where you are.
