A bit of an update.

Clutch seems to be solid as houses.

Just did a couple hard low speed 2nd gear take off's, then a decent 1st to 2nd take off.

3rd gear roll on, and zero slippage.

Most have been the a combination of a lot of 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 2nd shifts that's super heated it on Saturday arvo.

Plus a steep hill start and a bit of clutch riding so gary didn't run his F6 into the back of me...

Hasn't lost anymore fluid from the slave cylinder.

The rest of the drive train sounds a bit clunky but that's a different story altogether.

P.S. These cars love these crisp

16 degree night's..

Well that's good that it still works. It was a lot of smoke. I thought someone was pulling a skid.

What I can think of right now is the oil must have pooled at the back of the rocker cover and got sucked through your pcv valve and smoked that way. A big angle with a big rev to get moving could put a lot of oil in the back of the cover to get sucked up. Worn valve guides/seals could do that too I spose.

The smell when you stopped must have been brakes.

Yep we sat there for a decent amount of time at that angle. Gary was positive it came from exhaust tip. So it couldn't be clutch related smoke. I gave it a few good boosts out of the next few corners and absolutely zero smoke...

Definitely was burnt oil smell though, brakes is completely different.

I did look at the pricing for a Mal Wood option 3 kit. $1850. (Plus installation of course). For the near future, its good for 410 rwkw's....

Yeah we did unfortunately. It's weird. You should post about it and get some other opinions.

I was looking forward to driving up that hill flat out for months and we had those two farken roadworks...

Good news then :)

Leaving Robe I had to brake for a couple of cyclists.

Keith and Gary were wondering why I was pissed off with the 2 on the bikes.

Keep in mind the dashcam makes things look further away than they are.
