Has anyone else had issues with there TR6060 popping out of 4th gear under acceleration??

My ute had the box rebuilt at 39000 klms by ford and now its back there again at 41000klmx with the same issue.

Everyone ive spoken to has said the TR6060 is bulletproof..... The ute is a 2013 FG Mk2 and is stock except for a catback exhaust.

If it's still in warranty, force Ford to get you a new replacement gearbox as that's just unacceptable that they couldn't fix it the first time.

If it's out of warranty, contact Mal Wood to get it properly repaired.

It was 3 months out of warranty the first time but they paid 1k as goodwill (4k total repair cost)

The rebuilt box has a 12 month warranty but only lasted 1600klms and 2 months.

So it shouldn't cost me a cent this time.

I just wasn't sure if this was common for this box or I just got a dud??

The TR6060 is NOT bulletproof. The triple synchros seem to be a weak spot from personal experience. That's probably what's bumping it out of gear ?
