. so im replaceing fuel pump in a spare moduel I have. for a xr6t ba sedan.

anyway whats the best way to install the factory style corrugated hose. I have a new one for for pump and a new for retutn ..the return one is on but I can pull it off with force so will just clamp that as it wont be under much pressure. but the one for the actual pump id like to do correctly

I did the return one first and I tried boiling water but it did not work so tried a heat gun and it worked... but slightly loose. hence why ill put a clamp on it.

do I dobthe same for fuel pump hose?

Ahh see. You actually explained it really well I just didn't read it.

I didn't actually know you could buy it.

Your on the right track with heat, but seams risky, considering what you have done so far. And you don't want to add lubricant. Maybe a smear of petrol would help to get it to slide.

How close does it go on with boiling water?

Also email them. The add seemed helpful

I;m interested in how this is done I tried it with hot water - didn't work ,tried a heat gun this would of worked but I got it too hot & melted the pipe. Ended up submersable hose & hose clamps - been on for nearly 3 years & no problems but I would prefer the plastic hose (maybe should have bought the module from fleabay already assembled)
