So I am guessing it's not a caching problem then?

I think it was - has been fine for me since last night when I logged out and in.

Am tipping it was due to the computer/browser I went to still being active from the day before.

Fingers crossed it's all sorted - seemed fine before then returned when the caching turned back on.

Seems fine again now with the caching off.

Yep I reckon its related to using the lappy to login.  I've been mostly using my Android smartphone and not an issue.  But yesterday used my lappy and then got logged in as Valladium on my Android this morning. Logged out then back in as me okay.

Is there some sort of hashing/encryption mix up of login IDs between PC and other devices.  Has anybody checked if there's some SHA-1 / SHA-2 compatibility issue as from Jan 2017 all servers should be using SHA-2.

See if it remains ok - am hoping that the last ones we have had are the remainder of the issue from before the cache was stopped and will be all good going forward

Caching was on when you had that problem, Gary.

No SHA-1/SHA-2 issues.

No different handling of logins across different devices.
