I have a ba xr6t stock tune. from day one when I got car I was told something about it haveing a fg turbo but didnt really make sence. anyway from what I have gathered now. is that it had a 8psi actuator as it was over boosting heaps but now I have a stock one on it it does not overboost. but. now that I have the replacement h s exhaust houseing it looks like the one on ot now has a different sized flapper and hole as opposed to the stock ba/bf one I got. from some reserch ihave seen is that the fg had a larger flapper from factory so........would anyone know why the previous owner may have done n this with a stock tune? im yet to put it on but surely it wont make a difference being stock sizzed flapper on a stock tune lol Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/92591-ba-bf-flapper-smaller-then-fg/ Share on other sites

If your changing housings and turbo id suggest putting it on a dyno to smooth it out and also get some powwwwwwwer Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/92591-ba-bf-flapper-smaller-then-fg/#findComment-1618234 Share on other sites
