k31th less WHY; more WOT Site Developer 29,311 Member For: 16y 11m 3d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 24/10/16 10:33 PM Share Posted 24/10/16 10:33 PM change the oil regularly and the turbo will probably survive a long time, so change the turbo only if it's failing or has failed (or you want to upgrade to a bigger one). if you replace the stock turbo with another stock turbo, bolt on is all you need to do (other than fix what caused it to fail, of course, if it failed for a specific reason). If you mean "upgrade" from the stock fg xr6 turbo to the stock fg f6 turbo then you can also just bolt it all on Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
