Backyard fix.  You can't blow a gasket if you do the job correctly and don't use one

Dude I am an engineer . I didn't bother looking at or watching any of those posts. Welding is a hack way of solving an issue.  

 

Would make my job easier if we just welded everything to fix it. Unfortunatly this can't be done for multiple reasons

 

I write welding procedures and I guarentee they didn't even know what materials they were welding let alone the tensile strength  of either. How can you match that to a consumable. Didn't even prep the joint correctly
