But it was quickish 12.78QT street tyre run and sounded sex with 1.78 headers and duel 3.5inch diflippo zorst that bellowed out at 143bells thank u liverpool zorst for that hehe. had to get xforce cat with the varax thingos to shut it up as boys in blue defected me 4 times in 6mths. Then sold it 2mth later for 38k all up it cost 56k for the car and 17k in mods... huge waste in the end. had planed on a 2300 blower and whatnot. my mates uncle oown it now and my 04xr ute beat it pretty easy though auto vs man helped. Unfortunately N/A just doesn't cut it...........

I have a 2010 G6ET and love it, I think the front end looks better than the MKII's. The leather seats are great for what you get and it's a nice comfortable place for long trips - 3+ hours - as I find out regularly. If getting a ZF auto equipped one, try get one with a transmission cooler fitted already, have a look in the "dreaded milkshake" thread, I got the PWR unit with braided lines for about $800ish and it's great peace of mind compared to a new transmission. I tend to find mine heatsoak's fairly easily on warmer days in Perth, so if looking at mods, I would highly recommend an uprated intercooler as soon as you can afford it (I'm thinking a Jonny Tig for me, a certain SA tuner will be getting a PM once I get closer to decision time). Brakes wise talk to Matt from Racebrakes Sydney, some of the best advice I got from this forum was to talk to him, you'll find some good pads and DBA T2 & T3 rotors do most people fine, I don't have braided lines but those that do highly recommend getting them, so maybe buy some at the same time. If modding you will find plenty of recommendations for tuners on here, get a good knowledgeable tuner and they'll save you heaps of $'s not buying the wrong thing. For example the previous owner for my car came from WRX's, so he did some things correctly by going through a reputable tuner here in Perth but other things have cost me money rectifying, such as in the braking department. My next upgrade is suspension, Shockworks coilovers seem to be the best, I've not had a single person on this forum that has them say anything but that they are brilliant and the best thing they did. I need to get diff bushes and the ones on the front done at the same time, the previous owner said they were done but Malaga suspensions found they are genuine units so he must have replaced the originals with OEM again. I find when cornering my butt feels like it's sliding in the seat, hence why these cars are affectionately known as Land Barges. Also bear in mind they don't have an LSD, not sure why Ford did that considering the XR6T's get one. Not sure if this is the advice you wanted but I hope it helps.

And the added advantage is no turbo lag. Go drive a high performance blown V8 ( over 450rwkw) and tell me it isnt awesome... I would have a blown VF over a blown FG any day... to get a decent blower, you are looking at around 15K drive away. for a little bit more cash I would buy an Atomic 998 GT (700 KW to 998 KW) and then where would your "better" car be? http://www.atomicperformanceproducts.com/998gta_complete.html
