I was under the impression I could buy a single DIN H/U that played DVD's, and it would play them through the colour ICC? or have I completely cocked this up?

According to the thread, a DVD player, an aux booster, and an RGB convertor?

The ASL audio/video conversion kit comes with it all I believe.

and the speaker/sub/ 2 amps should work as I think it will, but will have to adjust sub via ICC and speakers via head unit I believe.

The screen will convert your picture to 480p or something. sh*t picture. A/M DVD screen in the roof or double din h/u is the go.

I currently have a stand alone DVD screen with wireless headphones in the roof for rear passengers. (along with matching droopy headlining)

And I don't see how you can fit a double DIN in? unless you mean a fold out screen?

If I have to buy a new headhunt regardless for extra RCA outputs and stuff, I may as well buy one that also play's DVD's. Means I still get everything else while I'm at it.

Sorry fold out.

That roof unit should have av in so you got half the job done.

While the roof lining is out getting fixed run the cables.

Good thinking! The H/U I'm looking at buying also has 2 x video out's, so Ill run one to the ICC, and one to the roof monitor. Nice!

As cool as that is, I have to draw a line in the sand somewhere. I just need something decent to listen to with a bit more functionality. Pretty awesome bit of kit though.

Exactly. Except when my wife and son are in the car. Hence some decent tunes to listen to and a DVD to keep the little man happy.
