2 chan amp will not be good enough for a front/rear set of speakers and you will also lose fading capability and be under driving speakers.

Ill have to disagree with you on this one, the 2 channel amp is a nakamichi PA-D1000B, which is 500w @ 4 ohm, 750w @ 2 ohm, and 1000w @ 1 ohm, being a boilermaker my grasp of electronics isn't exactly huge, but I know I can wire it up in a couple of configurations in 2 ohm and 1 ohm, and my speakers being 75w rms each, Ill have enough power for them.

I hadn't thought about the fading thing though, don't know how much of a huge effect this will have.

Put simply, Im not buying a new amp as of yet, Im already in for a headhunt and A/V Conversion I wasn't looking to buy haha. Im not chasing SQ or SPL, otherwise I would have bought much better speakers etc than the ones I did, and Id be running a bigger sub(s) in the boot with proper boxes etc. Im just chasing something that sounds better than stock, and trying to use as much of the gear I currently have as possible, and I'm aware of the compromises and limitations that has

I rest my case....if that's your amp then your setting your self up for hurt and clearly have no clue at all...

I mean first thing is its a mono and not even a 2 channel! If you dont even know what that means to your sound setup I suggest you stick with your standard system....

Secondly that amp wont do hpf so you will get no tones through ANY of your speakers unless its 50hz whoch I bet your speakers wont do (because they are mid/high range)

Thirdly a single chan amp cant run 2 chan signal little own 4 chan signal. Bridging a chan would be minimally acceptable......

I wont keep going here but goodluck! lol

No need to be an ass. I simply thought 2 x sets of RCA's were outputs, not 1 x input and 1 x output.

I didn't buy the amp, it came in the car already installed. I apologise for not being an expert.

No big deal, I guess my hand is forced and ill have to fork out for an amp while I'm at it.

Don't worry about Damo he's a very experienced person #fighterpilotlyf

Amps are cheap don't stress.

Get a 4x50w amp and a H/U with 4 or more rca outs. Winning!
