Hi All,

My name is Jeremy, new the forum and to xr6t ownership. I bought my toxic green bf a few weeks ago with 80,000kms and 6 speed manual. All stock and pretty basic, does have premium sound system though.

Previous owners obviously flogged it though, was in a shabby state and still far from perfect but will fix things up over time. Have had superpro performance diff bushes fitted and potenza re003 tires.

My first priority is fixing everything that is wrong although when things need replacing using it as an opportunity to upgrade parts. The intent is to do it up as a daily driver that can also be fun at occasional hill climbs etc

Priority one is a complete cooling system overhaul/upgrade, however I need to save up some coin first.

I like that last photo man! hahahahha

Having the previous owner flog the car isn't always a bad thing. I rang the guy who modded my car and he said ' I didn't do many Ks in it cause everytime I took it out I destroyed the tyres and broke something'. I think as long as they've had the money to fix all the sh*t they've broke then it's all good!

Got any performance mods planned? All the cooling system should need is a new cooler thermostat with the round of mods you obviously know you want. Lucky you don't need to worry about the transmission milkshaking!

Just put in a better thermostat on sunday but I have a sneaking suspicion the radiator is at least partially blocked, either way with the plans for hill climb and track use an upgraded radiator cant be a bad thing.

Once all the cooling is sorted will be doing coilovers and bigger brakes. Power mods will be later but will only be aiming for around 270-290rwkw. Plenty for fun but not gonna compromise reliability too much :)
