Interesting philosophy and actually has merit. If you intend to use after market manifolds, turbo etc why not...30 thou ks of bulk skids is alot of abuse. Would last more than long enough to build a good engine if driven somewhat kindly..

Also what the guys do with the sohc engines and even stock engines from other brands like the jz's etc. We probably do get a bit precious about it all.... it will work mate go for it

sh*t nobody has actually answered the questions about the vacum lines have they?... I will take pics of the routing of it helps...

^ this.

They were pushing the n/a motor hard. We were doing roll ons the highway and power skids every 2nd day in that car. Was an animal.

Like I said keep it 300-400kw max and you will be fine.

Rust prevention. ;)

I had to change mine a couple of months ago, $30 and 10 mins of work. No more leaks. Good result haha

Hows the build going mate? Any updates?

I put a turbo on my bf n/a and its made 242rwkw on 8psi and lasted nearly 2 1/2 years before I pulled it out and it was still going strong with no issues. Just don't push it too hard :)
