Picked these up today, does anyone know where the part number is on the conrods? Advertised as 698 Superleggera (306200). Can't find it anywhere....

And the number on piston doesn't appear on Atomic website, not sure if it's a superseded version or something maybe.

Anyway, here's the pics and you'll see the piston Serial number also if anyone knows it's specs.

No worries.

I'm with jet on the 2nd hand internals. I would be extremely hesitant buying those unless I knew the motor they came from.

I love my current internals (stock) and have been punishing them for almost 300,000km...but would not buy them back if someone else owned them all of a sudden.

yeah that's fair enough, but does anyone know who that piston part number belongs to?

The rods are obviously what they say they are forged Atomic. And they have ARP studs on them, I'm just curious about Pistons... I'll ring or email Atomic on Tuesday and suss it out if no one recognises.

Used Atomic rods should still take more punishment than stockers either way. same same worst case scenario, but they look all good to me

The code on the pistons are one off and unique to the batch, you can literally lunch one piston and re order it again based off the serial number so no one will know it's detail except the end manufacturers or the re seller

give Brad a ring on Tuesday and he will be able to supply details if they are his pistons

I do like where all of this is going though hahahahaha

Thanks man, I'll get onto him and hopefully knows some details about them.

I'd say a reputable Tuner/Mechanical shop would know what to look for if the items are in perfect condition or something not right about them. Will be all good, glass half full is the best way to do things.
