The lure of owning a house to put my car in is greater than that of getting another fun car with nowhere of my own to keep it. Plus, I'm not tempted to spend any money modding my Honda...so it's a wise financial decision. I'll get something fun again one day...once I own a house outright.

I bought the G6ET first and if all goes right, the house in about 6 months, because I know I can't afford to buy anything decent after I become the banks bitch.

Although with all these parts going missing that I have to pay for, I'm wondering how much longer it will take to get the deposit with all the money going into fixing stuff.

So I've done the maths on your proposal to retain the honda, purchase house, pay down debt and then purchase toy and it doesn't stack up.

The revised equation looks more like, retain honda, get married, purchase house, reproduce, purchase additional honda (odyssey in this case), continue sh*t posting on here that one day you will sell the honda(s) and buy something fun.

What are the underlying assumptions used in your calculations?

In other words it's all down hill from here.
