Cheers guys. That's the 3.5mm jack yeah?

that's all I really want so I can plug my phone in.

That 03 Xr6 I had for a couple weeks just recently had premo sound with that cable from under dash. It was fairly average. But I think the cable was rooted.

Cheers damo that that would be choice.

you can get an amplified one but I've tried both and frankly the non amplified one is fine.

I do have an iphone and the audio output from the 3.5mm jack is better than my old samsung, like noticeably louder and clearer on the same cable.

Just now, Ralph Wiggum said:

Comes with free supercharger whine.

that's the issue I had on the amplified one. not sure how this ones been done (non amped I believe) but there isn't a whine!

definitely not as good as an aftermarket headunit, but for me it's good. I considered it but I wouldn't be able to put up with the placement being at the bottom. if I was to upgrade I would start with a headunit that works with steering wheel controls.

I wanna keep the steering controls but I rarely use them anyway.

But I think this cable is a good compromise without spending too much on a h/u

So I found a dribble of oil under the car the other day. Got under it today to suss it out. Seems to be coming from the right engine mount.

These are oil filled aren't they?

This one is from behind above the rack.

I was peaking thinking it was the return line but it's clean and the power steer hoses are clean.

Just that pool in the crossmember and the dribbles down the sides. It's a gunky thicker oil not like engine oil. I'm not going to damage this by driving it will I?

Also found a stud in that pool of oil. It's the one closest to the actuator that is missing. Probably been like that for a long time.

Pretty sure this isn't standard
