So changed the oil yesterday and while I was there I lubed the boost solenoid with silicon spray.

Gave it a hit going up Mt Ousley this morning and it spiked hard and broke up and carried on. Anything over 3/4 throttle and 5 or 6 pounds it carries on. I was hitting 9psi. That's well over standard boost.

Reckon I've farked the solenoid.

Before I left wtac I through some wd40 into the solenoid. Still the same. I have a feeling it's not opening the wastegate so the actuator may be shagged.

Excellent :spoton: throttle controlled boost.

Thanks Cris. I'd rather get it off you when I've got the cash.

Crisis averted. Hose from actuator to comp cover had come off the comp cover.

A mate of mine that done time at a fraud service center said the cops used to pull this hose off on the highway cars so they would get a bit more out of them.

Now I want more boost.
