Am wanting to get it up to a power that will keep me satisfied for a fair while so was thinking around the 350 mark. I've gotten a couple quotes and was wondering what your guys thoughts are on the pricing. One quote from a shop here in Canberra totalled at $7300 which was id1000 injectors, xforce full exhaust 4 inch dump through 5 inch cat and single 3.5 inch, 700hp plasmaman cooler kit with Cai and hot side piping, walbro 416lph pump, xcal 4 flash tuner and dyno tune getting me up to between 350-360 rwkw. How does that compare to your guys experience in Sydney shops? Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/92375-cost-of-getting-two-350rwkw/ Share on other sites

All good and well to dump $8k on power but if it'll be unpredictable what's the point? 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/92375-cost-of-getting-two-350rwkw/#findComment-1609620 Share on other sites

Well atm all I've done is fitted an earls turbo oil line, serviced the zf box and replaced the heat exchanger with a new one. It's an f6 so has the stronger valve springs and rods, valve springs would be the next thing on my list down the track especially if they start to float Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/92375-cost-of-getting-two-350rwkw/#findComment-1609624 Share on other sites

And some fat rears I'd also suggest new valve springs, pump gears and surge tank. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/92375-cost-of-getting-two-350rwkw/#findComment-1609626 Share on other sites

And what do you mean by pump gears? Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/92375-cost-of-getting-two-350rwkw/#findComment-1609638 Share on other sites

He is talking about the oil pump gears, I want this upgrade for my car. basically the oil pump runs off the crank and everytime you thrash the car it causes stress on the pump. What usually causes failure is bashing the rev limiter. honestly it doesn't hurt to make sure the car is warm before giving it a thrashing too, like drive round for ten minutes before seeing any boost. you might also want to have some savings for when/if the zf goes. strong box and all but depends how much you want to put 350kw through it.
