Hi Guys

After talking to one of the Top Fabricating shops here in NZ, About getting a plenum made up, He only makes plenums with straight billet runners (Ie plaz race series) I contacted him about info that I found  on the forums, saying they are no good for the street in the falcons. He said he wasn't sure what to make of it and to look into it more, So here I am.

Has anyone run a plenum described on the street or am I better of to buy a of the shelf Plaz/ PW.

Local fab shop quoted 1200NZD for the plenum which I thought was very reasonable, If anyone could shed any light on this it would be appreciated cant seem to find much info online.

Cheers Taz

This is the first I've heard anything about the hypertune/plaz-race plenums being bad for street duties...

I have a Plazmaman Race Series plenum, and it is fantastic. Street drivability is the same, if not  better than the factory unit.  Call plazmaman and talk to Alex, no one else.

Btw, there are a lot of design elements that either make or break a plenum. My advice is to stick with the reputable manufacturers have have the runs on the board. A wise old guy once told me that "poor men pay twice". So, buy right, buy once.
