Yeah will need to time your stall well if it still kills the fun after a few seconds. I find you can hold it for a good 2-3 seconds before compua says no and then it doesnt matter how far you mash the peddle..

Yep.

No need to rush to get off the line when you're lining it up either.

You're not racing the other car, nor the green light (time for that later)

Don't use RPM to work out when to leave the line, use boost pressure. A simple Boost gauge and on the footbrake ( no handbrake needed ) you need to increase the accelerator quickly but not harsh you want to see at least 6-8psi on the gauge and as you see the 6-8 pin the pedal to the floor and in the opposite motion release the brake

you will sub 1.90 60ft easyyyy as long as the tuner has given you "boost off the line" or "hot start" I believe it was called ages ago in SCT

ive helped many customer's go 11.9's and lower off 290rwkw and 1.70's with this method

any more boost on the line against the footbrake is twisty territory but I've managed 10psi on stock shafts to a best of 1.55 60's ;)

Thanks Jet. It's great to hear an actual boost figure to be aiming for off the line!

I will definitely be investing in a boost guage and will give this a go next time round at Calder

yer some say to leave on a certain rpm. some say leave on when boost builds if you have a gauge.

if your good enough you can leave on the rpm but you need to think in your head how much boost your car is building in that time, for me im retarded and got a gauge put in to help me. worked great got my 60ft from 1.7s to 1.6s in my fat ass ute.

only prob I had was anymore than 5psi off the line ended in wheel spin city. 275 ets dont work too well for utes.

if your keen to continue racing, id invest in a tail shaft, seen them fk sh*t up when they go poop.

to improve for future do a bigger skid, build more boost on the line and watch the 60fts improve. to be honest (like I was taught) you kinda need to try and break your car to be 60ft king hahah

good luck
