I have a Green FG XR6T ute with standard 17inch rims.

Time to upgrade, due to rough roads around home I will stick to 18's.

Which Option

  1. 18x8 Versus Monza, 45 offset, Sumitomo 245.40.18 tyres
  2. 18x9 front, 18x10 rear Versus Raceforge Sumitomo 245.40.18 front 265.35.18 rear (offset between 20-35)

Second option is an all black wheel, first is black with polished rivet look.

I would hope the second option would help hide the huge gap wheel to guard at back of ute? Extra $500.

Ideas? Opinions?

Thanks

You should be able to fit 255/40r18 front and 295/35r18 rear on the versus. Just measure the fronts up as the +20 will be close to the guard with those tyres but should be fine unless your going low.

Ordered Versus Raceforge 2 in 18x9 +20 front and 18x10 +20 rear

Have bought Yokohama V105 285.35 rears (damn they look wide) and 245.40 front.

Hope they clear well, Versus recommended those offsets as good for the utes.

Hope they arrive Monday for fitting.

Better late than never mate. Looks the ducks gutz now champ.

Ford really made a meal of the FG's rear guards on the utes.

BA / BF arse ends all the way.

Time to lay down some fat turbo charged  10 inch wide skids
