Hi,

There is a lot of threads, mostly about after market break kits. I'm running the standard calipers for the 2008 XR6T, I'm just wondering what a good set of pads would be (not super cheap, but cheap)?

I'm mostly on the highway (which is both smooth / stop & start) but also have a heavy foot around town.

Thank you

people keep talking about the project mu ns400 pads

I was going to try them out when I do my front rotors (with dba t2 or t3 rotors) and pads soon.

I'm super impressed with the pads I've got put in. 50-700 degree operating temp, grab smooth and strong, marked improvement over stock, particularly from higher speeds. Intima SR pads. Aussie made.

Oh and they'll work great with slotted rotors if you do decide to upgrade those at some point.
