I def wanna run ethanol at least sometimes, so dont want just a 98 tune. plus I pick up 20rwkw by switching to e85 tune. he suggests making it a dedicated E85 car- but with a 40 min drive to the closest servo that stocks it I would want to fill some jerrys with it each trip. having said that im only gonna drive the thing once a week prol (if that). plus to go full E85 id need to up the injectors from 60LB Dekkas to ID1000's- which means more power..... never a bad thing. --------- I was always led to believe that ethanol separates molecularly if left in storage, but am now hearing mixed thoughts. any one had experience with storing it for a period of time? suggestions? cheers *having said that the original tuner did an ace job of the tunes he did all them years ago. still runs perfect imo. When storing fuel, best advice I got was, to squeeze the jerry or container up as much as practicable then attach the lid. If you can create a vacuum of sorts and there is little space for air, then the fuel will stay mixed and it limits the "separation" That and keep it off the floor if you can, small shelf etc is best option. Otherwise for me, just means Wiggum and Kyle will be getting more beer visits when I go to the fuel station. Its around the corner from them (lucky pingpings)

And rotate the drum for a few minutes it will be fine for 2-3months. Remember fuels are stored for months on cargo ships before reaching tanks on land where its then stored for months again. Just dont let it sit for weeks with out rotating the drum.
