must be tripping, either way can we agree it's not good for a tuner to bypass the wastegate control solenoid?

No it's not, but if the wastegate is capable of flowing enough to control the boost pressure,  plumbing the actuator directly to the boost source will control boost just fine, at the expense of response and possibly boost up top.

My actuaor was running the boost fine untill now..

I was looking into doing external gate now so I didnt run into anymore problems with the internal in the future an im also going external so I can have maximum boost control as iv already replace the turbo core previously due to blocked oil lines dont want to replace another core or motor it self due to over boosting or spiking an also wanting for a SCCCRRREAAMMMMER :P

45mm Hypergate on the housing works a treat.

Thanks ralph!

So are we kinda putting the over boost down to my actuaor?

Is there anyway of bring my boost levels down for the mean time till I get my external an eboost

Most obvious cause (im my mind at least) for the sudden loss of boost control would be one of the following -

  1. A boost leak in the signal line to the actuator
  2. A Jammed actuator (or excessive drag due to misalignment)
  3. A Jammed/Dragging Wastgate flapper

Stay off the loud pedal! Just treat it gently until the issue is resolved. It's not going to overboost on light throttle.
