No it's not, but if the wastegate is capable of flowing enough to control the boost pressure, plumbing the actuator directly to the boost source will control boost just fine, at the expense of response and possibly boost up top. I was looking into doing external gate now so I didnt run into anymore problems with the internal in the future an im also going external so I can have maximum boost control as iv already replace the turbo core previously due to blocked oil lines dont want to replace another core or motor it self due to over boosting or spiking an also wanting for a SCCCRRREAAMMMMER Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
