An any tips on gow to bring my boost back down to a safe level

STAY off boost entirely or you'll be like one of the few BA's I've seen on gumtree that list a 'hole in the block' as one of the features! could be something like a blocked cat causing it from the crappy tune your car's been running. Yes, changing to a high flow cat without supporting boost control mods (ie wastegate porting) But a blocked cat will cause an exhaust restriction that will hurt boost. A simple wastegate port job and larger flapper would also be suffcient.
