The only 100% sure way is to avoid any sort of heat exchanger system (engine coolant and gearbox oil pass through the same block - which rusts out if you are unlucky). This means going to an air cooler (radiator) with a fan mounted on it. Personally I use the PWR heat exchanger to keep it as factory as possible - but have heard these can degrade too if you have a bad earth problem on the car so they aren't foolproof. :( 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Some use fans some don't. If you're going to do track days you'll need a fan but otherwise no. I'm picking mine up this week and I've been spying setups on here and @JETURBO has a proven setup that I'll be trying to replicate. My kit is costing me $150 not including fluid.
