When driving it cold at about 50km/h if I slightly increase the acceleration I can briefly hear and feel a shudder and vibration. I can't pinpoint it but suspect it's coming from either the diff or gearbox. It goes in for a service tomorrow and I wouldn't mind your thoughts on what it might be? I'm hoping it's not the auto slipping. It only does it when cold and at low revs - like around 1400rpm Thanks for your help. Was it after you had the tune? That might help some others to give their considered opinion. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/92270-shuddervibration-noise-at-low-revs-when-cold-g6et/#findComment-1606373 Share on other sites

I get shudder in mine if it's the first few minutes of the day and I load it up too much but it's no longer a stock box - different clutch pack materials and different oil (Transmax Z). Oh and it cops 50% more power than stock fairly regularly. I was wondering about the universal joints? lewis Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/92270-shuddervibration-noise-at-low-revs-when-cold-g6et/#findComment-1606384 Share on other sites

Gsexxy New Member 1 Member For: 5y 10m 14d Posted 07/06/19 08:57 AM Share Posted 07/06/19 08:57 AM Yeah they seem fine, it sounds more like a grinding vibration, like something is not meshing properly which I guess if there were slop in either mounts itcould cause the noise 🤔 Once car is all warmed up it completely goes Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/92270-shuddervibration-noise-at-low-revs-when-cold-g6et/#findComment-1684846 Share on other sites
