:icon_ford:

Fit an external cooler to the gearbox if not already done!

Tell us where you located so someone can recommend a reputable workshop as you want someone who knows what they're doing.

oh and welcome :P

I flushed every oil possible before doing my tune,

Flush and servicevthe tranny... 100% cooler needed.

Flush the diff maybe 2-3 times as it mite not of been done in yrs!

Then add

Valve springs

Injectors ID 1000s

Fuel pump 460 is in mine

Cooler HDI, plaz, tig, westy, I have a plaz 1000hp. But im going up in class so need it

Get a throttle relo

intake and battery relo kit.

BRAKES!!! I got 322mm fgs in mine atm but will be selling em to get bigger.

Waste gate/flapper

4inch dump & cat is a must, id get a zorst to but upto your budget I guess.

Im at 250thou km and the stock block is strong at 300rkw. Starting to feel a little slip from 2-3 change when cold.

Whats the end goal?

Id honestly suggest nothing over 300rkw unless your happy to replace the tranny at some point!!

Block wont go much past 320 either from what most say on here.

The odd ba has seen 350+ but rare as funk.

Plenty of help on here for u though mate, some very smart folks hiding under a bridge here and there that will pop up when u ask.

Any welcome aboard the mad house.

Haha,

Have fun with that mate. I would advise you to  do a little more research, there are other options.

The other advise posted from the guys is real good info for you, have fun once you start modding best decision you'll make apart from choosing the car.

Hey a new WA member, nice.

As for BPT, V8 tuning they might be OK but I would look elsewhere for XR6T tuning.

I went to them once...to buy my triple gauge pod holder hahaha.

The two "big names" in shops are Xtreme Ford Tuning and Monsta Torque.  There are other shops that tune Barra engines as well so look around if you don't like either of those two.
