So my 2003 ba mk1 turbs spools up and pulls well till about 4-4500 grand than feels as if it hits a wall drops boost n barely runs (like an ecotec after its eco boost) starts jumping around an stalling but if I go nutreul and up revs comes good again n stop carrying on (like cammed LS)

to my knowledge id say fuel issue starving for it but its pure stock so nothing is under powered at all....

gonna start fuel filter and hope its a cheap and easy fix (like charlie sheen) an praying to lord jesus that's its not the pump cause "ain't nobody got time for that"

just curious if anyone else has had this issue if so what was it and can you remember prices

^ whs

Change all 3 with a set of injectors fuel pump and whatever cheap cooler u can find then tune.

U wont hit much over 250rkw unless u want to offload 7+k with all the little things that help em get to 300rkw.

The BAs are a pretty average block so need heaps of help to get up to 300+rw

Vavle springs 1k

Injectors 3-500

Pump 500

Cooler 1-3k

Intake 3-500

Flapper/porting 500

Dump cat Zorst 1k-1500

Tune 500

If auto trans cooler 300

Then the 10 other little things that come along the way.

7k was a rough estimate but can be done for less but.

Plazmaman valve springs heavy duty - 250
1000lb injectors - 200
500lh pump - 317
Stage 2 plazmaman cooler - 1900
Plazmaman cold air - 300
Already own sct xcal3 so just 480 for tune
But anyway coils n sparks are fresh n its starving for fuel when it hits the wall

I'm dyslexic and cannot turn off simple functions in tapatalk

500lh pump - 317  self install?
Stage 2 plazmaman cooler - 1900 assume self install
Plazmaman cold air - 300   assume self install
Already own sct xcal3 so just 480 for tune  rule of thumb you get the tune you pay for...700 minimum for a proper custom tune by someone who knows these cars properly

^^FTFY

you might want to check your facts and figures again mate

^ this guy!

If u can get valve spring fitted for under $800 your winning right there...

99.9% of tuners charge $900+gst

Are u fitting most things urself Willturba?

Also u say the coils are new? Are they genuine ford? Or vdo? Or something else?

^or buy the whole car with ~360kw for $6500. Using VDO coils here and runs just fine. Okay it's cost me close to $12k including tyres n insurance...

Ralph is most likely correct on this matter anyway and I would start by following his advice. My only suggestion is maybe the fuel pump sock in the tank is clogged - but didn't think that was too much of an issue for stock cars.
