Good point on the B series vs FGs swaybars...forgot they were different stock.  Was great on my BFII :)  Think I have the 27mm whiteline (non adjustable), if stock was 22.  Seems to ring a bell.

Anyway disregard for FGs.

What a load of unsubstantiated wank. Been in a track and back to backed several sets of coilovers on the same car and timed laps have you?
As far as I know the fastest guy on here runs bilstein coilovers..
But anyway why would you suggest someone puts coilovers on a car designed to be a luxury cruiser...

I've run both Tein and Shockworks coilovers in FG's on the same track, yeah...so, ya know, there's that. What's your experience? I didn't even remotely mention lap times either by the way. I said the ride was better and the car handled better. To me, the Shockworks felt much less twitchy, the car felt more composed and rode a lot smoother, softer and much more progressive. Definitely didn't feel hard and uncomfortable like the Teins did or like the Pedders do in my current car. So go blow a goat, sir.

seriously .... How many times do we have to drag through this crap debate from people who have never installed or set up or even been in a car with what they are fighting against

great post stever but it's the B series that has a dramatic effect from a sway bar upgrade where as the FG really doesn't need anything done to the bars as they are huge anyway

if you want your G6ET low"er" OP and want it cheap go a set of shocks and springs if you want a but load of adjustability/sportier handling go coilovers

Exactly @Lennox, what experience do you have with Shockworks?? I thought you didn't have em in your car.

:stickpoke:

:surrenderwave:

I will say this, the shockworks make the car handle completely differently to the barge sensation everyone gets when they drive away from the dealership.

I like how it is setup at the moment, but it is those small things that still get to me. The small dips and bumps in the road that make the hole car sing.

Any big humps and there are no issues. Roundabouts, not a problem.

Take them to the track and change the setup to hard and you laughing, but who is gonna take a G6ET to the track?

If I had a G6ET, I am not sure if I would want the shockworks in there @.Stripes.. I have the rears set at 4 and the fronts at 3 clicks and it does an awesome jobs.

It's those small bumps at the shopping centers that makes the car feel as if every bolt and screw is going to be shaken off.

In regards to sway bars. I still have my stock sway bars and don't see a reason to swap them out, once you have shockworks in there.

may be a good idea if going billies+kings.

Softest settings and they were pretty comfortable, I thought. Each their own, though. Just throwing up my experience is all.

OK it's obviously a little hard to interpret so I'll lay it out for you.
I have no problem with the product - I'm sure they're incredible and all the rest. I have a problem with people saying they are better than everything else with no real world testing done other than seat of pants saying sh*t like they're the best for street and track hands down.

You've used all 3 brands? yeah over 3 different cars doing untimed laps so all you have to go by is what you think it felt like. That's meaningless.

Yet you're laying it out like it's a fact that they are better than everything else out there. That is what I don't agree with and I believe is deceptive.
