Now, it's possible somewhere on the internet someone has used the same words im about to use in the same order so I apologise if im asking a question that's already been asked.

Yes, but does the issue exsist on AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth/Ipod?

 

Ie is it possible the source audio is the issue?

The FGX and Sync2 are a new beast... this is definitely a new problem; one that I think you'll have to go to your dealer and get sorted under warranty.

 

It seems extremely unlikely to me that a PCM tune would affect the Sync2's audio controls... but I definitely don't know for sure.

Flash the stock tune back into it (but don't start it) and see if it works.

 

Then revert to the correct custom tune obviously.

 

I'll have a look at the sync 2 in wifeys TT tonight as see if I can spot and obscure reason why it would do that.
