The fact the site thinks FGs have a T56 is enough reason for me not to use or recommend it!

And yeah high series brakes would be the bigger BF onwards ones they are just having a lendbut.   Since it's ambiguous by not listing sizes it's not worth much.

technically, FG's do have a T56...

A TR6060 is colloquially known as a "T56 Magnum" which is a stronger gearset in the same configuration as a standard T56. Of course the shifter mechanism alignment between the B-series T56 and the F-Series TR6060 is 90-degree offset, but also the shifter mechanism portion of the driveline is irrelevant of the gearbox model naming :)

Thank you for clearing that up for me. I don't feel so ripped off now.

If we are really getting technical a TR6060 is the OEM fitment so FG's Have a TR6060 not a T56.

A T56 Magnum is the aftermarket Version of the box which has the same shifter config as the previous Ford OEM and Aftermarket T56.

I have the Aeroflow short shifter for the FG fitted to my car, this should indicate that I have the TR6060?

Fingers crossed.

There use to be another website and I am pretty sure it was a ford one in Australia, where you could enter the vin number and it would show you what came from factory.

I thought I had book marked it at some stage, but apparently not. That website showed all the correct info for me, but I can't find it now. Ahh well.
