Hey guys I have a ba xr6 turbo and I'm having a problem with my fuel consumption at the moment when I fill up my fuel range normally reads about 400 kms before empty but I'm only getting around 340 Kim's out of my tank I have spoken to friends of mine that have a standard ba xr6 and they get 550 to 600 Kim's from there tank I've had my spark plugs changed my coil packs and fuel filter changed also I've had my cat checked and it's partially blocked thanks and look forward to your response

stock?

 

O2 sensor, is my guess.

Blocked cat can cause issues, but would have to be fairly damaged/blocked/collapsed to cause bad fuel consumpion.

I dream of 340 from a tank.

 

I was partially blocked once, but a dodgy curry soon fixed that......

but how many real km? driving around the city and doing short stop-start you'd get probably 400km out of a tank of 98. You'd probably get more like 550+km out of a tank of 98 on cruise control at 100+km/h on the highway for most of the tank.

seems I get more not useing cruise control in my ba xr6t.....if I dont use cruise control I got 650k to a tank and was confirmed yesterday as had to do a long drive home. but that was on highway at 110kph and 100kph.  with cruise it would get maybe 550.... 

 

 

round town lucky to get 360 from a tank haha
