On the golf course on a cold frosty day, it's about 1/4 of a second from the tee of the 1st to the green of the 8th

Well depends on the media the object is travelling through so at sea it would be different to 40000ft

At sea level it'll be different today to what it was yesterday too

Make sure you check the forecast before you head out to break any records.

Salt flats in the desert are the perfect place to crack mach 1

Am tipping you'd break the sound barrier quicker over the Navajo than over the Amazon?

Yes and no....there isnt a big variable at 100ft because of temps.

A few knots in it.

Different at altitude though because temps are upwards of -30 so your in the sub 1000kmh area and the air density is different too.

Good for fuel economy lol
