I too went 7 to 10, 8 was a joke.based on that next release will be a shocker, pattern goes right back to 95 pretty much it actually takes them twice as long as it appears to develop a product.... That was the worst of the lot AFAIC Vista was pretty bad compatibility wise but I was able to use it. 8 didn't come close to those two in dreadfulness and 8.1 did a lot to solve some niggles.
