I guess it all comes down to user preference from a user interface point of view but my point still stands about the fact you have to "install" a piece of software to use it in the first place (amongst others), but there's no point continuing if you're such a snagit fan edit (win10 only): for those interested, the simplest/quickest way to clip an area into an email etc Win+Shift+S, select region, Ctrl+V.
