backblaze seems good based on what I've seen of others who use it... been meaning to use it :idunno:

backblaze dosn't do NAS or Server backup, which is what I need

usually just back up my photos off my phone onto pc that's about it.

I have my phone synced to OneDrive  (205 GB of free storage)

have looked at the premium home version for $129 per year for 6 TB to back up my server or NAS box or whatever you want to call it

legendary

looks like a good quality purchase.

I'm looking to replace my shitty laptop, at the moment, too... tossing up between that one and a couple of others in the same range...

Yeah it seemed to be the right one to get after some thorough research. It has a 6 core processor with hyperthreading at 4.1GHz, 16GB ram, gtx1060 6GB, ips screen, ssd and hdd and other stuff blah blah blah.

It's only really a couple of hundred more to get it vs a non gaming pc and it has much better specs for a budget minded laptop that still pulls it's weight.

over bf5 after a week and sold the gtx? that's a bit extreme lol

what are you playing then? or whats good?

IM STILL ROCKING BF1....oops caps

Yes it was a bit extreme and it was because I could not work out their mouse settings.

Afterwards I worked out that they had some mulitplier factored in which is bullsh*t.

All other games are straight forward and simple.

BF5 had to be I <3 Bananasen different!!!

Well I now have a GTX1060 on loan. Been playing ROE. Ring of Elysium. another pubg spin off.

the graphics card will get me out of trouble for a bit. I am impressed on how it is handling the gaming at the moment.

Work is giving away our old desktop's so I scored two of them (Lenovo M92p model: 3238A72) and I was gong to use one as a CCTV PC because they are small form factor (179mm W X 182mm D X 34.5mm H) and will fit in the linen cupboard with a switch etc. no worries at all.

https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/desktops/thinkcentre/m-series-tiny/m92p/

Processor: Intel Core i5-3470T Processor (2 cores / 4 threads, 2.9GHz, 3MB cache), Turbo Boost 2.0 (3.6GHz), integrated Intel HD Graphics 2500, integrated 1600MHz dual-channel DDR3 memory controller, Virtualization Technology Implementation Processor in LGA1155 socket

It's got 16GB's of RAM and a 250GB SSD, the cameras I'm getting are some no-name Chinese units other IT staff have bought and raved about, I've got multiple PoE switches I can choose from to run the camera's, so I just need ideas on what software people have used that they recommend.
