I got my 2.01.644 and that put me in 11th place. So close to top 10!

Will you still talk to me if you make the top 10 ?

:bye:

Man I'm sure if I explained what I do, you would be able to get a sub 05 in an hour or two.

Driving that car fast is very counter intuitive, to me at least.

Haha Rab I was gonna say go fast and don't crash :)

@bloodycrashboy  You gotta throw it into the apex in high speed corners rather than precisely turn in and then you gotta straighten up the wheel/controller, but not necessarily the car, and then floor it when the wheel is nearly completely straight, when you're just past the apex and let it slide somewhat. In low speed corners you need to do the same but less aggressive on the approach.

It has a lot of lateral grip but will understeer or oversteer if you don't chuck it into corners and nail it before mid corner decel happens and it oversteers or spins out.

I hope that makes sense. Driving like that takes a bit of a leap of faith but it seems to work. You can hold it flat for a lot more of the track than you think.

Did have fun today in the V8 luxobarge

In manual mode, it reved on the downchange, or gave the illusion that it did, which was cool.

I was running  it at about 4 to 5k in 2nd and 3rd

Made me smile

Did have the window down to listen to that V8 goodness, but not much noise cos standard  crap exhaust.

Coming back down the range I managed to be a bit smoother, so Mrs BCB didn't  swear at me :hysteric:

Looking forward to getting  back  home to play Project  cars 2 now

In manual mode it blips the revs on downshift. It's a shame the ZF doesn't.

It's awesome at the racetrack. But makes you look like a homho on the street.   Sounds like you want to race everyone.

Come on.  Tell the truth.  You liked the holden.

So now image one with 3.45 diff instead of 2.92 and another 40rwkw.

That's what I drive every day.

PS- still a slug compared to the F6, but a nice seat to spend hours in.

yeah I liked it

sure beats a Toyota Corolla eh @Rab

I don't know if you read my other post about the dash reflecting on the inside of the windscreen

But that does look like a design fault to me

I tried to adjust the position of my head to see if it would make a difference but same everywhere I tried

ended up using the reflection of the headup display  as the best "clear spot" to look through

maybe a dash mat would fix it, but I really hate those things

Just bought the little fella a 15" Alienware lappy

Was a cheap(er) refurb from the Dell outlet store - about $1k off, as per new, warranty etc, but maybe a couple of scratches

i7 7700hq, GTX1070, 16gb ram, 128gb M2, 1TB 7200rpm SSD, G-sync screen, larger battery, lots of RGB etc

Basically the smaller brother of my 17" lappy.

Replaces his 7yo lappy which was due for an update (school/uni/ etc) and should last him for a long time (at least til his out of my wallet and paying for my retirement :P )
