Yeah, I was tossing up between a couple of others with similar spec for about 200 more, then that one showed up and I was like "done" :)

I still use a Toshiba Satellite L300. I put another ram stick in it for a total of 4GB, a t9500? cpu and an ssd.

I replaced the battery and charger once and it's been going strong for over ten years.

so lately when playing games, I have noticed that my CPU is at 100% all the time. a couple of months ago, this was not the case.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I have an intel I5 4670K and I never use to have any issues.

I am suspecting the either windows is doing this on purpose to force me to get a new CPU

OR my cpu is dying. Temps have been in the 50s since watercooling the rig.

I know that these temps are not to be worried about, but still for a water cooled rig, I was expecting it to be in the 40ies at least.

What windows are you running? I know there is an issue with windows that can cause the CPU to be used by background programs. I had this issue with my gaming laptop.

I'll find the link

Could be worth a try
