Had a win at work
Our CNC water cutter will only run on XP and the current computer that runs it is stuffed
Managed to load XP onto one of the PC's that Mrs BCB's work so kindly donated to me
Some blogs I read said you couldn't run XP on modern PC components
The Intel I3 processor and mobo is about 10 years old, but post XP
It loaded up easily and runs really quite quick
Even got a heap of updates from Microsoft which is odd seeing as all support for XP ended in 2011
Winning

you can still get updates, but only ones they've previously distributed. No "new" updates in the mantra of "ending support", supposedly... but you do still see a few side cases of actual newer support every now and then.
