indeed... but if it's just double the width of 1080p (e.g. 4k - 3840px) with the standard 1080px height, the the 144Hz refresh rate would be achieveable on a reasonable single card.

weird that they don't list the resolution :idunno:

This monitor has more pixels than mine does with 4147200 pixels vs 3686400 pixels.

Some games would be alright but there would be a few that would be stuck in the 30 to 40fps range at max settings with anything less than a GTX 1080.

most games havent even cought up to ultra wide yet.

I doubt anyone has got this new mega ultra wide for games yet?

but trying to look at all that wide screen while gaming would drive me nuts but on the other hand it will feel very immersive.

I think it would distract me cos it is wide enough but it's not physically high enough. Also it seems weird cos it's only 3840 wide but it's wide af.

I reckon I'd buy a 40ish inch 4k tv and use that for a monitor before I spent 3 times the money on that bad boy.

Sooooooo.............................................................

when I got back from Japan my PC wasn't happy about being turned off for a month

thought it was a software issue to the point of doing a fresh install of windows

I mucked around with it for a week and have come up with the conclusion that the video card is well and truly on the fritz

What I was wondering (as I haven't read any reviews yet) is it worth buying a 1080 TI version video card?

Is the extra RAM worth the extra $400 bucks?

Maybe @Rab you know the answer to this?
