This is my gaming rig, not the cleanest but it does the job. Only sees 1080p gaming so its okay for that. Is entirely on air and still OCs well with temps hovering aournd 65C (it does have 7 case fans and 2 cpu fans) running prime 95 http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/12846074

i5 3570k 4.8ghz @ 1.37v
GTX970 G1 gaming
16gb 2400mhz ram

zip tied air cooler

And this is my uni laptop (metabox P650SE), doesn't see much gaming but I still like trying to squeeze every ounce out of it http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/12840774

i7 4720hq @ 3.8ghz

GTX970M

As it was left last night (mate came over to watch footy and F1's) so got distracted

Windows, drivers and updates installed

Still need to connect the storage hdd's, tidy up cabling and start optimising, checking temp and stability.

Nice space between the cards for cooling, I hope you are going to ram some air up its guts

I think it should be okay, I think increasing the air flow will result in a fire for this guy considering the dust buildup. :P

Love my case how it has twin 140mm fans blowing onto my 780ti from about an inch or two away. Computer is virtually silent running on SSD's, if I plug a hard disk in then this drowns out the fan noise.

Because I don't have a 'gaming' motherboard and only had three fan headers including the CPU, I found out how much current the fan headers can support and rigged it up so one fan header does two fans. It only gets the RPM signal from one of the fans.

when computer idling only waterpump and one of the radiator fans is active.

found this when going through a few old picks

was my first go at overclocking the most expensive CPU I had ever bought ($600  ?)

I was very happy with the result

Same CPU has been running @ 4GHz for nearly 4 years

doesn't even break into a sweat

running @ 10 degrees above ambient right now   :thumbs-up:
