Made him miss Racewars which was really annoying.

But I did call them and had a conversation that could only be described as unhelpful and mildly bizarre.

The other half of the equation is IH8TOADS and he's off partying in countries where the women run around topless so don't expect there'll be any news soon either

Mummba is still around, just lost interest in the forum and what comes with it. Toads is chasing skirt, he doesn't pull any punches when talking bout precision turbos. Again he doesn't get on here much, he is a rain man when it comes to knowledge on forced induction etc but like many lost interested in the forum.

Car is getting modded for the second time and I have no urge or requirement to post anything about it on the forum or anywhere on the internet about it. Times have changed in the last year and life moves on. I just hope the GTX doesn't give me any headaches.
Fireside Member 45 Member For: 11y 4m 22d Posted 15/07/16 05:46 AM Author Share Posted 15/07/16 05:46 AM Hey all. Sorry for going dark there. Just thought I'd give a little closure to my turbo shopping fun saga. The short version is, after making my decision to rebuild with a GTX core, MTQ stripped my turbo to find the exhaust housing riddled with cracks and beyond salvage. So for all reasons incl time and wallet damage, I stuck with what I know works and ended up with a complete new GT82 with the flap mod done. And I haven't been online because I've been working my ass off to pay the unexpected bill. Good news is, car's going great. Actually, to my surprise, It feels like it pulls more strongly than before. Thanks for everyones input along the way.
