neither is out of my way and it is an opportunity to drive the car(which I enjoy driving).

It gets me out of the house as well and gives me some quiet time.

Car was tuned on Caltex ultimate 98.

Just last night I filled up with Caltex Ultimate 98 which means the car will soon be tuned on this fuel.

No pinging as far as I am aware.

You must have special combination servos around you, I only ever see Vortex 98 at Caltex and Ultimate at BP :P

Yeah I almost never buy form random servos, I watch the gauge and plan trips around the fuelwatch price cycle.

"whats fuelwatch?"... lol. im a fan of fueling up when my car needs fuel. or when I want to get fuel. just my choices I guess. I really like the BP servo I go to, close and has always done me well (well... its only a year old but still). I will avoid pre-pay servos even if they were a dollar cheaper. sh*ts me. hopefully wont matter soon, E85 and all.... not a lot of choice of vendor or locations.

I've been running Mobil 98Ron from the 711 around the corner from my place. The daily banger seems to love it. United for E85 for the F6 everytime (not like there's much choice in that Dept!)

The local 7-11 has jumped prices back to match Shell & BP so I am using BP again.   I watch the Average Economy read-out on the dash.  13-14L/100 kms using Mobil from 7-11.  With BP in the tank, that drops to 11-12/100 kms.  I've also noticed that BP is often 4 cpl cheaper than Shell . . . . and when that happens, that makes Shell shopper dockets useless.

I always go to the same BP on the main road near me.. it's on the way out to most places so it makes sense.

Saw them building a new servo on the road and was praying for a united as the street already has a Caltex, BP and 7-11. Saw the signs when I was home last, it's a f*cking puma. f*ck you discount fuel I want e85
