I try to shift the zf 6 speed manually, what is the best rpm up shift from 1st to 2nd gear? I found out when I put in peformance auto, the computer actualy hold the first gear too long result a very rough shift and lot of wheel spin,  is it faster if I shift it manualy my self quickly get to the 2nd gear to minus the wheel spin?

Short shift into 2nd at around 4500 to 5000rpm as the torque curve is adequate from there as you enter 2nd gear. :3gears:

It climbs so fast you gotta shift it earlier than the higher gears.

I just put it in neutral and rev it like bam bam bam bam bam bam then select d for maximum respect.

Even on my tuned zf not such a fan of the performance mode when taking off, the above advice is decent.

Also the thing chirps wheels between gear changes which has become a little hairy in the wet as it shifts to 2nd.

Don't some people simply take off in 2nd? I do that sometimes when I'm lazy
